On June 10th, hundreds of people gathered to remember Ron Rosenbaum. The speakers included Dan Barreiro, Audrey Glassman, Jim Rosenbaum, Todd Rapp, Deborah Sitkoff, and Ron's son, Nicholas Rosenbaum. In the words of Joe Friedberg, "if there could be a fitting send off to Ron Rosenbaum, it was. We all miss him. While Holding Court is on a break, we feature some more fabulous conversations from some of our best episodes and keep to a Rock-N-Roll theme for this show. In honor of #ThrowbackThursday, we feature one of the greatest episodes in Holding Court history from back in October of 2014. Tom Barnard and Tommy Mischke joined Ron in the studio, and the result was a heated, free-wheeling, hard-hitting discussion amongst three radio legends. Following this week's New York primaries and Trump's landslide victory, we feature a few segments of two of our favorite episodes. First, we look back on our conversation with two Trump supporters when they came in-studio to make their case on why they support the Donald. Then we highlight a conversation with a Muslim American to discuss Donald Trump and his views on Muslims. 

Ron is back and in-studio, along with Todd Rapp and Lucy. They tackle the human rights issues in North Carolina and Mississippi in the wake of anti-LGBT laws being passed. They also discuss Minnesota's stance on the LGBT population, the presidential election, and Sammy's position as a Semi-Finalist to be a Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader.

Joe Friedberg and Michael Brodkorb join Lucy Quinlivan to discuss more controversy surrounding the Jamar Clark case and prosecution following an op-ed piece in the Star Tribune published by Steven Belton entitled, "Jamar Clark case: Freeman played dog-whistle politics in communicating the narrative." They also chat about the state of the presidential election, developments in the Grazzini-Rucki case, and more.

Joe Friedberg and Bob Bennett join Ron and Lucy over the phone to analyze every angle of the Jamar Clark case following the announcement made by the Hennepin County Attorney's Office that they will not be charging the officers involved in the fatal shooting of Clark.

Michael Bryant joins Lucy in studio as she welcomes Todd Rapp and constitutional law professor Joe Daly on the show to discuss the impact that the attacks in Brussels may have on the presidential election, the Kansas state legislature proposing to broaden grounds for impeachment of state Supreme Court justices, and more.

Following a very important Primary Day on March 15th, Todd Rapp joins Ron and Lucy to discuss the riots at Trump's rallies, Marco Rubio suspending his campaign, and the general state of the presidential race. Ron also tackles several issues including Hennepin County planning to cease using grand juries in officer-involved shootings.

We take a look at a few of our favorite recent episodes and feature a portion of the live Dean Strang interview at Sisyphus Brewing conducted by Joe Friedberg and Ron Rosenbaum on the murder case that has been popularized by the Netflix docu-series, Making A Murderer. Michael also shares an update on the Grazzini-Rucki case, which involves two girls who were missing for over two and a half years before returning to their families.

With Apple and your phone in a battle against the FBI, Ron and Lucy were joined by a Constitutional law professor and Todd Rapp to get their opinions. They also discuss the legacy of Justice Scalia following his passing, what comes next for the Supreme Court, Donald Trump in a feud with the Pope, the South Carolina primaries, and more.

Chuck Samuelson, the head of the Minnesota chapter of the ACLU, joins Ron and Lucy in-studio to discuss recent developments in the Jamar Clark case and the actions of the Black Lives Matter Movement. Plus, Todd Rapp joins the conversation to weigh in with his thoughts and predictions for the candidates left in the GOP presidential primaries and what they'll need to do to stay in the race.

In a sold-out forum at Sisyphus Brewing in Minneapolis, Ron Rosenbaum and Joe Friedberg conduct an interview with Steven Avery's defense attorney, Dean Strang, to discuss the broader implications of the Netflix docu-series "Making A Murderer." Dean holds the audience rapt while he shares his point of view on the trial of Steven Avery and his newfound notoriety as an attorney featured in the film.

Maplewood Chief of Police Paul Schnell joins Ron and Lucy to discuss the drastic difference between how white people and people of color regard law enforcement. They're also joined by former NYPD detective and radio personality, Dan Conry, for some lively conversation.
